Scott Jacobs' work is characterized as photo realistic, his paintings offering extreme detail and realism. Jacobs uses both acrylic and oil mediums on canvas, masonite and other surfaces. Jacobs also uses many photographs of a subject, taken from all angles to achieve the depth shown in his paintings. The first artist to be licensed by Harley Davidson, Jacobs has elevated motorcycle art to an unprecedented level. Now in addition to motorcycles, Jacobs is using his extreme mastery of still life painting to capture the beauty of wine. Check out his new Wine and Spirits Series, Scott Jacobs incredible attention to detail and the complexity of each painting will leave you amazed.

A giclee (pronounced zhee-CLAY) is an individually produced, limited edition, high quality reproduction done on a special large format printer. Images are generated from high-resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks. Giclee prints can be printed on a number of different media - watercolors can be reproduced on watercolor paper, for instance, and can be so color-true that they are virtually indistinguishable from the original. Oil paintings can be reproduced on canvas. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than any other means of reproduction. The colors are brighter, last longer, and are so high-resolution that they are virtually continuous in tone, rather than tiny dots.
