Who is ACOLT

Colton Hindle is the founder, lead designer, and master jeweler of ACOLT, a Denver-based jewelry house. His work grew from a deeply personal journey of self-discovery. Early struggles fueled his creativity, and jewelry became the medium through which he discovered what he was capable of and what mattered most. With little indication of where that path might lead, Colton became fiercely determined to find out for himself. He traveled internationally to study one-on-one with master jewelers, mastering traditional craftsmanship while developing unconventional techniques and an artistic style uniquely his own. What emerged was more than a career in jewelry. It became a mission to defy the skeptics, push the boundaries of his craft, and create the most imaginative work he could conceive. His artistic perspective was shaped by his parents’ fine art collection and his own fascination with creating colorful works of wall art in the streets of New Jersey. Cartoons, video game characters, and LEGOs further shaped the visual world that would later influence his work. Today, nostalgia connects those early influences to the worlds he creates. From the experimental freedom of ACOLT’s Silver Line to the increasingly ambitious works of the Gold Line, Colton and his Denver team transform those influences through precious metals, radiant gemstones, and sculptural form. Every piece is a miniature world alive with interstellar objects, retro legends, and unexpected characters, carrying a story of its own while leaving another open to the collector’s imagination. Layered, dimensional, and meticulously constructed, each invites the eye to wander through engraved walls, sculpted crevices, and unexpected discoveries. The result is handmade, one-of-a-kind work that challenges where jewelry ends and art begins. These pieces give physical expression to his personal mantra, LOOK INSIDE: an invitation to move beyond the surface, explore what is hidden within, and perhaps discover something about ourselves in the process.
